PORTRAIT WORK FOR NETFLIX

You may not be aware, but the majority of my professional work these days is in the film and TV industry, shooting on-set publicity stills and poster artwork for high-end TV and film productions.

This month Netflix released “Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials”, starring Mia McKenna-Bruce, Helena Bonham Carter and Martin Freeman. I worked on this, shooting both on-set stills and a studio setup with the three main stars in character for the key art.

Here’s the end result after the clever people at Netflix turned three individual portraits, shot on location against a grey colorama backdrop, into a full poster.

It might seem like a different world to shooting portraits in my little studio in Cardiff, but all the principle skills are the same – lighting, posing, and making people feel comfortable to do their thing in front of the camera.
